WARRANTY POLICY
1. Warranty Period
A 1-year limited warranty, effective from the date of purchase, covers your bidet seat.
This warranty applies to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use.
2. What Is Covered
During the warranty period, LushWash will repair or replace faulty components at no cost if the issue is found to be a manufacturing defect.
This includes parts such as the main control board, heating element, and lid motor, when the failure is not linked to external factors.
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover the following:

Damage caused by severe voltage fluctuation or electrical surge that exceeds the normal residential power range (230 V ± 10%) or by connecting the unit to a shared circuit with heavy appliances.

Improper installation or wiring, including use without a dedicated 16A grounded socket and voltage stabiliser.

Clogged spray nozzles, solenoid valves, or internal water lines caused by sediment, rust, or hard-water deposits when no external water filter is installed or replaced periodically.

Manual interference or misuse, such as forcing the auto-lid or nozzle, blocking sensors, or opening the unit casing.

Cosmetic wear, discolouration, or scratches that do not affect functionality.

Repeated failures after earlier replacements or repairs when caused by the same unresolved external condition.

Damage caused by repair or modification by anyone not authorised by LushWash.
4. Installation & Water Requirements
To ensure reliable operation and long-term performance:

The bidet seat is designed to operate safely on a standard residential power supply (230 V, 50 Hz). In areas known for frequent voltage fluctuations or power instability, it is strongly recommended to use a voltage stabiliser or surge protector to ensure long-term reliability of the electronic components.

A water filter must be installed on the inlet line. The first filter is provided free of cost with your unit. Customers are responsible for replacing the filter periodically (every 3–6 months, depending on local water quality), and can purchase compatible filters from any hardware or sanitary store.

In areas with hard water, nozzle clogging can occur if filters are not replaced regularly. Clogged nozzles are not serviceable and will require nozzle replacement at actual cost.
Failure to follow these installation and maintenance requirements will void warranty coverage for the affected parts.
5. Replacement Policy
If a product is replaced under warranty, the warranty continues from the original purchase date and does not reset, unless otherwise stated in writing.
Replacement decisions are made solely at the discretion of LushWash after technical evaluation.
A replacement may be offered as a goodwill gesture in rare cases where repair is not feasible, but customers cannot demand or compel replacement under any circumstance.
Replacement is considered part of the warranty service and does not extend the warranty period.
6. Service Policy

In cities or areas where LushWash has an authorised service network, technician visits are available. After the warranty period ends, technician visits and repairs will be chargeable as per prevailing service rates (exclusive of spare parts).

In regions where service support is not yet available, customers may send the product to our service centre in Mumbai for inspection and repair. During the warranty period, LushWash will arrange pickup and delivery through our authorised courier partner, free of charge. Please ensure the product is properly packaged for safe transport.

After the warranty period ends, customers can still send the unit for repair; however, shipping charges will apply both ways.

If the technician or service centre identifies that the fault is caused by external factors, the visit or repair will be billed at actual cost, even during the warranty period.
Note: Damage caused by external electrical faults, wiring issues, or power surges beyond the standard residential range is not covered under warranty.
7. How to Claim Warranty

8. Friendly Note
Your bidet relies on clean, steady power and water, just like your washing machine.
A small stabiliser and water filter make a big difference in keeping it healthy and reliable.
9. Jurisdiction
All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and consumer forums located in Mumbai, Maharashtra only.
10. Limitation of Liability
LushWash’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product.
The company shall not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to water damage, electrical damage, or property loss arising from use or malfunction of the product.
This warranty is provided in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Nothing herein limits the statutory rights of a consumer under applicable Indian law.
